For this piece, I drew myself, both in Lenox and construction paper. Using Clorox I was able to achieve the brightness I wanted to portray in my self-portrait. The disarrangement of pieces represents how nothing has to be perfect to still have meaning; this drawing is not arranged perfectly, but it still illustrates me.

For me, art is universal and can be done everywhere. This is why I used construction paper, to show that art can be done in any media, not just the assumed canvas and regular paper. Since art is everywhere, I decided to use Clorox, to show that art isn’t limited to pencil and paint.
