Hands have many representations: strength, power, hospitality, stability, generosity, etc. It is also the most symbolized part of the human body. Green is the color of life.
I painted the hand’s nails green, like the surrounding swirls, which gives the piece unity. I drew the hand with it’s every detail, illustrating how complex and beautiful human life is.
